Installing FastExcel V3

Note: FastExcel V3 is no longer supported. Version 4 is the latest version

The V3 installer is no longer available for download.

V3 License Deactivation and Reactivation will continue to be available until further notice

Prerequisites

FastExcel V3 required:

• Excel 2003, Excel 2007, Excel 2010 (32 or 64 bit), Excel 2013 (32 or 64 bit), Excel 2016 or Office 365(32 or 64 bit)
• Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10
• The Installer must be run using Administrator privileges on the target user's PC
• .NET 3.5

Uninstalling FastExcel V3

Moving a license or Renaming your PC
FastExcel licenses are tied to the name of your PC. You can move a license from one PC to another using Excel->FastExcel->Licenses->Remove. If possible you should remove the license before uninstalling FastExcel or changing the name of your PC.

To permanently uninstall FastExcel V3 use Windows Control Panel Programs and Features.
To temporarily uninstall FastExcel V3 use the Excel Addins menu (location varies according to Excel version) to uncheck the FastExcel V3 addin.

Managing your License Activations

The webpage allows you to:

• Get information about the PCs your license is activated on.
• Activate and Deactivate a License remotely.

Trial Version and Activation

By default installing FastExcel V3 creates a 15-day trial version.
When you start Excel using the trial version FastExcel V3 will remind you how many days of trial you have left.

You can click the License button on the FastExcel Tab to view or activate licenses, or to purchase a license,

Note: the trial version of FastExcel V3 profiler does not enable Profile Workbook, Profile Worksheet and Profile Formulas, and the Drill down wizard will only profile a single worksheet.

You can convert the trial version to a fully licensed version by entering a previously purchased activation code. The activation code can be for any of the 8 FastExcel V3 licensable products:

• FastExcel V3 Bundle
• FastExcel V3 Profiler
• FastExcel V3 Manager
• SpeedTools Premier Bundle
• SpeedTools Lookups
• SpeedTools Filters
• SpeedTools Extras
• SpeedTools Calc

Any combination of trial and full licenses is allowed.

FastExcel V3 Licensing Settings

You can access the FastExcel V3 licensing settings from FastExcels Tab-> Calculation Options->FastExcel Settings tab, or from the License button on the FastExcel Tab.

Show License Status shows you the status of your licenses for all FastExcel V3 products.

Add New License asks which product you want to add a license for:
And then prompts for the License Activation key.

Release These Licenses de-activates your licenses on this PC so that you can reinstall on another PC.
