The ability to directly profile formulas and functions is one of the major advances in FastExcel V4.
Profile formulas provides a detailed and prioritised analysis of each unique formula and function used on the worksheet.

The output shows how long each formula takes to calculate, and what is the percentage of the total time used by all the occurrences of the formula.

The flags identify the characteristics of the formulas and functions. Volatile and single-threaded formulas can be a major reason for slow calculation.

• A - This is an Array formula
• B - Contains a Built-in, native Excel function
• X - Contains a registered XLL function
• O - Contains a VBA, Automation, or XLM function
• N - Not Volatile
• V - Volatile
• ? - Cannot tell if this formula is Volatile or not
• M - Multi-threaded
• S - Probably Single-threaded
